The Budget Fashionista…a book review
I recently received a copy of the Budget Fashionista’s book to review. Now I must admit that I simply asked for the book because I desperately wanted something to read. I have never been a girly girl so I was not into the clothes, shoes, makeup and purses that ‘real women’ seem to love so much.
I got the book and I was all ready to be unimpressed by what I read…the cover is pink after all!!! I opened the book up and I was immediately hooked from the first page. The book did not try to convert me from being a tomboy into a frilly pink poodle.
How to Avoid getting into an Accident on the highway
I was recently in a situation with Baz where he thought he caused an accident on the highway. Now I am not really sure what happened because I was too busy being scared out of my mind. I do know that I really hate tailgaters.
I had a long drive recently and I had my personal tailgater. This person was just determined to ride the bumper of my car all along the highway. We were in a bit of traffic that would run really slowly for a few minutes. At this point we could only just crawl along at about ten miles per hour.

I am at an all day session for the entire week. My friends will be going to buy lunch every day. I bought some stuff from WalMart and I will be cooking and eating home cooked food.

What I actually spent the Gift Card on
You may remember that I got a gift card from DealBarbie which is now the only GPT site that I use because Cash Duck is closing down. I posted a poll in the right sidebar asking readers what they thought I should spend the gift card on. I also had the items listed in my Amazon section over in the left sidebar.
I ended up getting the Vanilla Musk perfume because that was what I really wanted. Then I got a great surprise in that I got a second gift card so I was able to get the toothpaste too! I am happy because I really wanted to get myself something nice and I was able to also get something practical without having to sacrifice what I really wanted.
Cash Duck is crossing the street
Cash Duck is being shut down so if you have any money in there for payouts then you better get it cashed out quickly.
I really enjoyed using Cash Duck and it was my introduction to GPT sites so I am sad to see the little ducky crossing the street.
If you have a lot of credit cards and you could use some extra money in order to pay some of it off, consider a cash advance. Some people consider new mortgage loans, but either way it’s a great idea to get those debts paid off.

Today I was driving back from a long distance and I thought I needed to top off my transmission fluid. I did not have the handy long funnel that I bought some time ago because someone borrowed it and never returned it.
