5 Unnecessary Things You’re Paying For Every Month (Guest Post)

Posted by LuLuGal | September 19, 2011 .

If you’re like me, you’ve subscribed to about 100 different little things online – most of which just take money out of your bank account every month. Like a lot of web developers, I’m sort of a sucker for little programs that promise to make my life easier (and some of them actually work). But there are many that I sign up for, only to stop using them a month later and forget that they even draw from my account. Obviously, if I had an accountant, he’d be tearing his hair out looking at my monthly bank statement.

You can now join Lending Club to:

-reduce your debts or

-increase your income

by using one of my affiliate links posted in the boxes at the top of the blog. You simply click on them to sign up and I get a referral for you joining up and being an active member.

Remember that I used Lending Club first to get rid of my high interest credit card debt a few years ago BEFORE becoming a lender on the site myself. I have had really good results with it and actually had a few people sign up for loans because they saw how easy it was to use.

Oatmeal

  1. Neutralize odors by putting a small, open container of it toward the bottom of the fridge (baking soda works, too). Some people line their ash trays with oatmeal, too.
  2. Treat acne, sunburns, or otherwise irritated skin by running 2 cups of uncooked, plain oatmeal through a food processor until it becomes powdery and dumping it in your bathwater. Add 1 cup of milk and a tablespoon of honey for a more luxurious spa experience.

The Most Valuable Piece of Paper That is Not Money (Guest Post)

Posted by LuLuGal | March 7, 2011 .

Saving money takes effort. When you are in a store and you notice there is a sale is going on, that’s a coincidence. But when you go to a specific store over another because you know there is a sale going on that’s a smart decision. While there are always people complaining about how much things cost, there are only a few that are willing to do anything about it. Those who are being smart with their cash are rarely the ones whining. This is because these individuals have the right attitude. They challenge themselves to find the best deals out there. They have done their research scanning through all of the stores in their neighborhood, discovering who has what at the lowest price. This mentality and determination becomes extremely valuable when you’re going out to buy food.

Not Sure If I Want Kids And I REALLY Want People To Stop Harassing Me About It

Posted by LuLuGal | February 23, 2011 .

Lately I have been getting a lot of pressure about having children and it is mainly from my coworkers. My father has mentioned his lack of grandkids more than once, especially since HIS brother already has a couple from my cousin.

I am my father’s only child so I am really getting a lot of pressure from him, although I think if he was so serious about having grandchildren then he should have raised his odds by having more than one child right?
