Yes you can. The extra bucks print at the end of the receipt. If you do two (or more transactions) then you can use the ECBs that printed out earlier.

I use my ECBs from the previous week because the ECBs expire in one month.

Every now and then I will do two transactions because I do not want some of the ECBs to lump together.

Alas, I’m feeling a little uninspired by this week’s deals, but I’m not too disappointed after last weekend’s haul (10 bottles of Listerine!! 5 for me, 5 for mom). Next week looks a bit better though – especially if you’re thinking about stocking up on cold/cough meds!

I guess so then. I know we pay tax on some items but not others so that is why I was surprised when you mentioned the shampoo. (Texas is different I guess.)

Hey, thanks for commenting on my post. I wonder if the tax issue is just different in different states? I live in CA and we do have to pay tax on the amount of the manufacturers coupons. I checked with my husband (who used to work at Longs Drugs) and he said that it is always like that in CA. Oh well – I guess I can pay some pennies to the state since I’m not paying anything else!
