My action for Blog Action Day: solar lights
Today is blog action day where bloggers tell you of one thing they do to help the environment.
My action for blog action day is to only use the solar lights for my lighting needs. I have the computer on at work because I need it…but at home I am not going to turn my computer on all day.
I bought a few of these lights at WalMart and I have been using them in my bathroom and some other rooms in the apartment. Since they give off so much light and recharge themselves I put a few in every room.
If I need more light in one room then I just put more of the lights in that room and take the unnecessary ones away from the room I am not using.
I am saving electricity today by using my solar lights which charge up using the sun during the day. Then when it gets dark these lights? turn themselves on and I have lots of light.
I took the stakes off and just use the top part of the lights. During the day they are decorative and at night they save me money.
