Have you checked Missing Money to see if you have unclaimed funds anywhere? I just rec’d a couple checks totaling $104 from a state where I used to live. You can search most states at once on their site. I posted more info about it on my blog here. It works best if you’ve moved around a lot — but you might find something unexpected!
