Happy birthday Lulu! It’s a good sign that you felt bad about splurging. When you are trying to save, you need to stay in that mindset. If you are going to go and waste a bunch of money it ends up offsetting all the other penny pinching you did. It is good to treat yourself once in a while though.

I’ve been there before after treating myself, having that regret of spending the money. For example whenever I go to a restaurant, and get that item that I usually don’t get and later regret the money I spent, because I feel like I just wasted my money. I think it’s a natural feeling for us all, and time should fix that feeling, at least for the most part it does for me.

Yes I will do a follow up on the birthday spending…although so far it is going okay. I got a pedicure at $25 and then immediately got the shakes at spending so much to have someone paint my toenails. Is that sad?
