I really like the new theme, seems to be alot of theme changes going on right now. Orange definately stands out more then blue, good call..

I think you can do a lot better. I've thought of tweaking this theme before but it just didn't give me the professional feel. This theme has great potential if sleeker images were use but you may want to use better template. When I was redesigning my blog I searched like mad to find a nice (and free) one to customize.
