I get paid on the last day of every month so I always start the month in the negative because my rent is due on the first of the month. Other utilities are due between the 1st and the 4th. I have budgeted every cent of my income so as long as I stay below the budgeted amounts I am not spending more than I earn. The budget also includes an amount for savings. @ Paulette:
