Tracking my Finances in October: Day 8

Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $53.96
Expenses for the month to date: $978.14
Net effect: -$924.18
The increase in spending today was from me buying some gift cards that I was giving out as prizes for a contest. I also spent some money on food over the weekend because I went out to eat with friends. It was a friend’s birthday and we all went to Cheddar’s for a birthday dinner. The food was able to last for two meals so it was well worth the price.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
