“Get Bitter Or Get Better?” at Debt Reduction Formula. When negative things happen in your life do you just grumble or do you use them as an opportunity to improve on your life?
My mother recently passed away and I was mad. I was mad at the insurance company for not paying the bills and I was mad at the administrator for telling her she had to leave and I was mad at the world for my mother dying so young.
Then I realized that being mad was not going to bring her back so I had to channel that energy into being supportive for my brother who is really taking it harder than I am. I am now using my energy to talk to my father and brother more (at least once a week in long distance calls!!!!) and I don’t have the time to be mad at the world any more.
“Paid $0.00 for $33.68 Worth Of Items” at How I Save Money. I went crazy at CVS and got tons of stuff and did not spend a cent out of my pocket.
“Operation Freelance” at The Financial Wellness Project. The economy is a mess and FWP is freelancing to make it big.

Whoa… I didn’t know your mother died in December. Sorry to hear that. I’m glad that you’re using your emotions to help your father and brother. I’m sure they need it.
Also, congratulations on being listed on the Top 50 list! Hmmm… how come they didn’t list me? Now I’m bummed!

Thanks Ryan…it has been hard for me but I have some supportive friends. And my mother always said I was emotionally stronger than my brother, so I guess I see that now.
