How I Save Money visits: How To Be Poor

Welcome to How I Save Money visits ! This will be a regular weekly posting of an article that I thought was interesting in some way. Today we visit How To Be Poor at "A Disgruntled Republican" .
The post talks about things that will ensure that you are poor if you do them. Now while I am not endorsing what the writer wrote I think many of the points are valid. I certainly did not agree with some of the items like ‘Become a Single Mom’ because in some cases that was not a choice that the person made. There are also a few single moms who make more than the salary he quoted and they are quite happy with their situation.
I commented on the thing I did not like. What do you think about the points in general?
I think the post makes some valid points. I don’t agree with everything, but whatever!
Yes he does have some valid points but I am still wondering about the tone in which the piece was written.
