Tracking My Finances in April: Day 7

Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $38.33
Expenses for the month to date: $835.46
Net effect: -$797.13
Income for the month represented a little bit of blog income and a few cents interest on my paltry savings. The humongous expenses for the month thus far were:
- rent
- utilities and
- credit card payments
Oh how I long for the day when I no longer have credit card payments like this. I am slowly working my way out of debt and with God’s help I will be free of the chains of debt.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!

I had been doing such finance tracking for several months now but i’ve not yet been able to get out of the credit card payments.

Just keep working on it. It really takes time to pay off the debts. I am paying off debts from a LONG time ago and if I did not get the job I have now I would not have been able to make the payments I did.
Keep paying and don’t add to the cards and you will get there.
