Tracking My Finances In August: Day 4

Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $10.33
Expenses for the month to date: $985.48
Net effect: -$975.15
So far I have paid rent and insurance and the water bill. I spent $65.68 on food but I don’t spend an equal amount every month on food. I usually spend a lot in the first week and then less in the rest of the month.
I have not bought gas so far but on Thursday I have to take mother to the hospital again so that will be the first gas purchase for the month. Back to school training sessions start on Monday so I will be driving all of next week as well.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
