Tracking my Finances in October: Day 12
Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $151.04
Expenses for the month to date: $1718.31
Net effect: -$1567.27
Whew! The cash flows are still in the negative for now but that is okay. I am still getting a little bit of money trickling in so it will all work out. I sent out a massive payment over to one card and had some of the balance transferred to another card at a lower rate.
As of today the balance on my American Express Blue Cash credit card is ZERO!!!!!!!
Oh how I love to see that big fat zero in my accounts at this point. I have had this card for years….and I have been paying on it for years too.
I will be adding the payments that come from that card to the payments on another card and increase the snowball to my other cards.
The card with the next balance that I need to target is the Chase credit card. I will be sending the larger payments to this card and continuing to pay $5 above the minimum on all of the other cards. I predict that I will be able to take the Chase card down to zero (if all goes as planned) by this time next month with the income that is set to roll around.
I am going to get breakfast now. I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
