Tracking my Finances in October: Day 18
Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $428.83
Expenses for the month to date: $2394.49
Net effect: -$1956.66? ? -$1965.66
I just sent off a whopping amount to one of the credit cards. This was part of the regular bill payment plus the rent amount. Since I moved to this new place I have found that I can pay the rent on the credit card. The complex does not charge an additional fee for paying rent via credit card and I get the points on the card for making a ‘purchase’.
This is a great deal for me because I can use the card to pay rent and then turn around and pay the amount to the credit card so that I do not get charged interest on the balance.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!

i am confused. where are you getting the 1956.66?
Thank you Toby for pointing that out. It was actually a typo on my part because I did not write the figures accurately. It should be $1965.66 and I crossed out the error and put the correct amount in.
