Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.

Income for the month to date: $46.40

Expenses for the month to date: $819.51

Net effect: -$773.11

I managed to come out of September in the positive….but only just slightly. I got paid and then got some interest from a few accounts. I had just a few more bills to pay and when I added everything up I had a positive cash flow for the month.

This month my expenses thus far have been the usual. I paid rent and insurance on the apartment, along with the water bill.

I started off the month with some great income as I got $9.45 in interest from ING from some cash that I had in savings accounts over the months.

I was also able to collect $4.78 from my Lending Club loans, although there is one person who is late repaying the loan.

I have already spent $23.35 on gas but this is because I have not bought gas since some time last month and I filled up my tank because I have to go out of town this weekend.

I also got $12.80 worth of groceries..but this not close to the groceries I need to stock up on for the week. I did get some more hummus…which I am loving.

I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
