Get $20 from ING for November Purchases
ING is offering a new promotion to hype up the Electric Orange checking account. You can get a bonus $20 from ING just by using your card.
* Everyone with an Electric Orange account is automatically enrolled.
* Use the card in November to make at least 5 separate purchases of $10 or more using your debit card.
* Get $20 credited to your account in December
How sweet is that? Now this does not mean that you have to go out and spend extra money on stuff that you do not need just to get the $20 bonus. I am taking part in the promotion by breaking up a couple of my purchases into smaller transactions and using my debit card instead of my rewards credit card.
I bought gas for my Thanksgiving trip to get one transaction and I had a couple of WalMart grocery trips on this so I now have the 5 transactions. If you are going to be shopping on Black Friday you can also use the card for those transactions to make the qualifying purchases.
There is a ton of stuff at CVS on Thanksgiving day so you can easily get two of your transactions that way. Then you head over to Walmart for their Black Friday deals and get more transactions that way.
