Got the feed fixed
Just after my previous post went up the feed to PFBlogs.org was fixed so now I am getting fed! It figures that it would work just after I post about it and make me look like crazy.
Need some help please
If anyone uses Google feed reader to subscribe to pfblogs.org I would like your assistance please. I know that the blogs it tracks (How I Save Money included) have been updating but the reader says there is nothing new. The last day of new entries says May 13th so I know this cannot be correct. There are some blogs that I subscribe to directly and I have been getting their feeds but they are included in the pfblogs.org feed and nothing is coming through.

Got more free food
You guys and gals know that I got a part time stint for a couple of weeks over at the bookstore. Yesterday I was getting ready to leave when the manager asked if I was going to stay for the meeting they were having later. I did not have a clue what meeting they were having so I said no.

I found this great lil blog recently because the writer left a comment here on How I Save Money. This is a good way to get more traffic for your site because when I see a comment I go to the person’s site to see what it is all about….that is unless the comment is negative or cruel in which case I will delete it. But I digress.
Problem with PFBlogs.org
Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with the feeds from PFBlogs.org? The numbers of submissions I get from them has been steadily declining lately and stopped completely on May 12th, although I can clearly see from the site that bloggers have been posting.
I have resubscribed to the feed and it still says there are no new entries from PFBlogs.org. Not only is the service not updating my feeds (when other aggregators do) but it is also not giving me anything from anyone else.
I am not a vegetarian…….
….I just do not eat chicken….or pork….or beef. I have never been a fan of the taste of meat and when I was growing up I would always have to stay at the table after everyone else was done because I had not cleaned off my plate. One of my most vivid memories of hating meat was when I was about seven or eight (I am spelling the low numbers out here Shawn) and my brother told me that corned beef was made with rats. I immediately stopped eating corned beef…..although it did take me a while to realize that HE was still eating it. Hey I was only seven and he was much older!

After a few miserable days without the blog, How I Save Money is back! Thanks to all the readers who sent me emails and told me to hang in there. The issue with the host is still NOT resolved and the major work on the back end was done by the incredible Baz from WebDev. Thank you so, so, SO very much….I was going through blog withdrawal symptoms from not being able to post anything because I was afraid it would get lost.
