New domain…new logo
For those with sharp eyes you may have noticed that I now have a new logo at the top of the blog. I would like to say thanks to Baz of WebDev for creating and setting up my new logo.

Ode to John Chow part two…or how I got my link back
I wrote a review of John Chow back in February (specifically batch 22) when I was on the old domain name with the Save Money blog and then I moved to this new one and lost the link from him…..so I have to write another review. Now isn’t John Chow lucky to be reviewed by me twice! So since I wrote a serious review last time I decided to write a poem this time. Now you guys know I am not a financial advisor…and I am not a poet either…but I took a stab at it.
Tracking my finances in April
I will be starting to post on my daily finances again during the month of April. Every day I will report on the previous day in order to see if I was able to save money or if I spent too much money on the previous day. I track my finances obsessively regularly and enter every cent into Microsoft Money but I did not do any reporting on a daily basis for March like I had done in February.
New domain information
It is official now people. Save Money blog is moving to a new domain. Please change your links to http://www.HowISaveMoney.net/ for the blog. I have already gotten all the posts moved over and now comes the hard part.
I need would like everyone to change the information in their links to me to point to http://www.HowISaveMoney.net/ because that is where this blog will be living from now on.

I’m getting my own place!
Before you guys and gals break out the tips on how to save money on moving expenses I need to clarify. I will be moving this blog to to a new domain name. I will be staying here in my current apartment for a little bit longer (actually I will be moving in the Fall if I get a job in another school district…but that is a different story.)
I just bought my very own domain name (well Honey actually paid for it…but that too is another story) and I will be starting the process of getting this blog moved over to the new site.
Tracking my finances: March update
Okay folks here is my spending and saving update for the month of March. I will also be updating my net worth so you can look at the progress chart in the left side bar…..scroll down.
I am still training Money to recognize and classify some transactions but the figures for this month are more accurate than the ones for February were….so just bear with me for a little while longer while I get this all straightened out. I am finding out new things constantly that I need to work on.

Everyone: Hi Lulu!
Save Money: And I’m a blogoholic. I started this blog to keep track of my finances and find a way to connect with other people so that I could find ways to both make and save money. I did that but then I also found sites that were not directly related to personal finance.
Now I am a blogoholic. Every day I need to check my feed (multiple times a day) to see what people are writing. I am constantly checking my spam on this blog to see if a good comment somehow got filtered into the wrong place.
