Cheese isn't bad just cause it has some mold on it. However, if it is bad I can't deal with doing that mentally and I have to throw it away. It's tough depending on the food, I have trouble with fruit in the summertime with fruit flies. Cheese though is usually one of those items you buy a small amount knowing you are going to eat it within a certain time period.
