Found Money
I went to do laundry and found 15 cents in the washer. This apparently fell out of someone’s clothes while they were washing and they did not notice when they emptied the machine.
I said I would leave it to see if anyone would come to claim it because there were about 4 dryers going and there were some washers that were on the very last cycle. I went ahead and put all my clothes in the washer and started it…and waited………
………….and waited……………..
…………………..and waited some more but no one came….so I took the 15 cents. Then when I was walking back to the apartment I found 5 cents on the grass near my stairs. I have added these coins to the spare change container and when it gets full I will deposit it into my account.

It is always weird when you find money. I found $5 on the streets in SF 2 weeks ago. I waited, asked around and then kept it….
I think that is a great thing. You should pick it up!
I have much to learn about saving money, I guess. A quarter is about as low as I go for picking up and keeping. Ditto for removing from my pockets before washing. You probably found my fifteen cents!
Maybe I did….I guess now you will pay more attention to those poor nickels and dimes.
