My Mother Died (12-12-08)
Hi everyone,
I have some sad news to share right now. My mother died around 7:30pm on Friday December 12, 2008. I am pretty shaken up about it right now as you can guess…especially after all that we just went through.
I have some posts lined up that I prewrote so things should continue on the blog pretty much normally. I am looking for guest posts to fill in some slots so feel free to contact me using the contact page or email me directly if you would like to write here.
Thanks a bunch for all the kind words everyone has sent in via twitter and email already.

Hi, I typed in my mother died and got your website.
My mother died on December 13, 2009. We thought she was going to get better. She was in a rehabilitation ward of Auckland hospital, undiagnosed till 11 days before she died, she had a meningtitis like infection and a thing on her lung that looked like cancer but we never found out for sure. I feel like I should have known. I did know about her symptoms but didn’t know they were classic meningitis like symptoms, I feel so sad.
I am sorry for your recent loss. You should not be angry at yourself for not knowing…..you are not a doctor and could not have known what was really wrong. I thought my mother would get better too but God makes the decisions so we just have to bear with it.
