I recently logged int0 my Discover credit card account saw that I had some cash back money waiting on me.
I have a balance of $46.97 in my account which I could redeem for cash OR I could get a CVS gift card for $50 by using up $45. Woo hoo.
Guess which one I chose.
Well of course I chose the CVS gift card since you all know how much I love to go shopping for stuff at CVS…especially when I get it for FREEEEEEEE.
How I Save Money At CVS: 10 May 2009
Today I paid $0.49 out of pocket for $5.49 worth of items.
I was going in just to get the Crest mouthwash when I realized that there was a FREE item that I could get as well. I used the ECBs from last week to get the medicine for FREE and then used the ECBs from the medicine to get the mouthwash. Score!!!!!
I have now earned about THREE times what I spent in real money in ECBs. CVS rocks!!!!

So I found a dime on the ground outside Walmart…..after weeks of not finding a penny.
I guess things are looking up since that person did not miss the dime.
Now I am one dime richer!!! This dime is going into the sandwich bag until it gets full enough for me to roll some change and take to the bank.

Mailbox Freebies (Feb 14)
I got some freebies in the mail this weekend. Some were samples that I had requested from various sites and others were coupons.
I love getting free stuff so every time I open the mailbox it is a nice little surprise.
One of the coupons is for any Suave item up to a value of $3.00 I do not use Suave items but I am going to pass it on to another blogger.
Some people hate getting those little packs of toothpaste but I love them as they are a great way to try out a new flavor before I go spending money on it.
Got A FREE Lunch Bag!!!
I just LOVE getting FREE stuff so imagine my surprise when I went to get the mail and got a wonderful present.
I have a credit card with Care Credit which is a card company that works with medical providers to get better payments. I got the card when I got LASIK last year and they offered me a 0% interest payment plan which I simply could not pass up.
I got a mystery package in the mail and when I opened it up I found this neat little lunch bag inside.
How I Save Money At CVS: 11 Jan 09
Today I paid $1.41 for $6.00 worth of items. I was not impressed with the selection for this week and there was really only one thing that I really wanted today.
I got a few coupons and an extra $2.00 ECB from the magic machine at the front of the store.
You may also notice that the image is a lot clearer than the ones I usually post of my CVS shopping and that is because I took the pic with my new digital camera. This was my late Christmas gift so now I have a real camera….no more fuzzy phone photos!
