Last Call For Frugal Fraud Submissions
I will be posting an article on Frugal Frauds on Monday Feb 16 and this is the last chance to get your post in.
A Frugal Fraud is someone who talks the talk but does not walk the walk. A Frugal Fraud is someone who tells you how to save money but does not practice the art of saving money in his or her own life.
Please send in your submission of a time when you were less than frugal and let the readers decide if you were a Frugal Fraud or if you just fell off the frugal wagon for a hot minute.

Dinero Saves Dinero: Heater
Meow!
Hi everyone, Dinero here doing a little guest post. I am new to this blogging thing so bear with me a little bit. I am helping Lulu to save money because she fell off the frugal wagon today a little bit.
It was cold today and she got the day off. She decided to put on the main heater because the apartment was a bit chilly.
Silly human!
Well I know how she is always trying to find ways to save money and I know that the heater is expensive so I decided to nudge her back to reality.
Saving Money At Work Makes My Coworkers Mad
Welcome To How I Save Money!
I work in a little place where we have a staff of about 12 people. Since we are so small, everyone tends to be all up in everyone else’s business and they talk a lot about what is going on.
There is a man who comes to the workplace to sell fruits and vegetables at $44.50 a box. The box contains an assortment of things like grapefruits, bananas, sweet potatoes, strawberries and green beans to name a few. The man only takes cash or checks (understandably) and wants to be paid on the spot.
Tracking My Finances In May: Day 26
Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $806.20
Expenses for the month to date: $2601.78
Net effect: -$1795.58
Now that we are in the final week of the month and I get paid on Saturday I can take a look at the budget once again. I am pleased to report that I am still within the budget for the month so overall I am happy with the performance of my money this month.
Wealth, Money and Life Network favorite posts
Here are my favorite recent posts from the members of the Wealth, Money & Life Network.
Dividends 4 Life shows us how to save money by giving the Gift Of Nothing . Now I must say I was a bit disturbed as I read the first sentence because I thought this guy was being WAAAAY too cheap…but then I realized what he was talking about.
Dollar Frugal shows us how she Did Not Save $80 On Insurance . This reminds me of the time I ended up Switching To Geico to save money on my car insurance . It sounded a bit cliche but I tried them and really did get a better deal, but I almost missed out on it because I thought Geico was just a gimmick.
How I Saved Money On Lotion
I have been thinking about the ways I need to save money and I realize that I splurge when it comes to lotion and use Palmer’s Cocoa Butter…which is more expensive than some stuff that you can get most places.
I know it is not the cheapest lotion that you can buy but I like to use quality stuff on my sensitive skin . I know that I need to save money wherever I can so I started thinking about how I could save money while still enjoying my favorite body lotion.
