Okay I am finally biting the bullet on my weight. I went online to SELF’s challenge and got a free two week pass to Gold’s gym. The challenge begins on february 26th and there is a Gold’s gym about 1 mile away from my apartment.

I just called a friend to ask her to go with me…..because we all know that I will let the pass expire if I depend on myself to go to the gym. There are Pilates and Yoga classes which is what I am interested in.

The stocks are doing better. I guess the cure was really to leave them alone and see what happens in a few weeks instead of a few hours.

I have just decided on this last day of the month to take a look at my goals for the new year.

I have managed to stick to my budgets and not fudged my numbers so I feel much better about my finances.

I have not kept up my end of the bargain when it came to exercising. As usual I always start off well and then slack off at the end of the week. I also ended up eating too much cake so of course I put on some weight.

I was finished with all of my tax info but did not file because I was waiting to get something from ING for my return. Then I decided to go into the ING account and read about the 1099…and noticed that I would not be getting one for 2006.

So I can go ahead and file my taxes now…..and I do not have to file a state return so I can e-file for free!

My Google stock (GOOG) has been doing better over the past few days. Actually, all of my stocks have been improving and my portfolio looks better now that I have decided to just leave my simulated investments alone.

I am still monitoring the stocks and I have sold the ones that really dropped a lot of points and then repurchased at the lower rate. These stock prices have now started to move back up and my situation is improving.

I signed up for a Yo It’s me credit card where they were supposed to give you a $5 card for trying out the service. I was skeptical but tried it anyway and …..the card came in the mail today. The thing is that you are supposed to be able to check your balance online but the site would not let me sign in using the information provided.

Then I tried to call but only got a voicemail. So I am guessing that maybe this one is one of those things that do not work. If you are interested anyway you can go to www.yoitsme.com and try to get one of those cards.
