Tracking my finances: March update
Okay folks here is my spending and saving update for the month of March. I will also be updating my net worth so you can look at the progress chart in the left side bar…..scroll down.
I am still training Money to recognize and classify some transactions but the figures for this month are more accurate than the ones for February were….so just bear with me for a little while longer while I get this all straightened out. I am finding out new things constantly that I need to work on.

Everyone: Hi Lulu!
Save Money: And I’m a blogoholic. I started this blog to keep track of my finances and find a way to connect with other people so that I could find ways to both make and save money. I did that but then I also found sites that were not directly related to personal finance.
Now I am a blogoholic. Every day I need to check my feed (multiple times a day) to see what people are writing. I am constantly checking my spam on this blog to see if a good comment somehow got filtered into the wrong place.
Having problems with the comments
Hey guys and gals. I have a few (well four actually) emails about comments that were made but never showed up. They have been swallowed by the blogosphere for some crazy reason (maybe because I ate all the tuna paste) and they are not showing up on the blog.
They are not in the spam.
They are not in the comments awaiting moderation.
They are not in the approved comments.
They are not in the comments that happen to slide by because my blog loves that other blog.
How to get your American Express Blue credit card interest lowered in four easy steps
Step one: pick up the phone and call American Express.
Step two: say that you have been a good customer and you would like to get the rate lowered.
Step three: accept the lower rate.
Step four: say thank you and hang up the phone.
That is exactly what I did and I got my interest rate lowered from 19% to 14% effective my next billing period. Well 
actually it was a little bit more complicated than that. I did call customer service and asked for my rate to be lowered since I have been a good customer for the life of the card. I have always paid more than the minimuma and I always pay my bill on time…..early even!

Poll added to sidebar
Last night I looked at the blog and said to myself that something was different but I just could not figure out what it was. Then Baz said (all proud) “Look I added a poll for you!”.
So now I have a poll in the right sidebar…so you must all go and vote. I was thinking of putting one up since I found this site where you can create free polls but I guess Mr. Itchy fingers was just too excited and ran with it.
This blog is constantly undergoing changes so we will see what happens with that. Until then…Vote!
Found money
I sometimes walk with my head down when I am thinking deeply about things. Everyone says I should not do this because it just is not a good thing to do. It turned out to be a good thing for me today because I saw something shiny in the grass while I was walking.
The shiny thing I saw turned out to be new quarter which I quickly scooped up and put in my bag. When I got home I added my lovely quarter to the pile of quarters that I use for laundry so I am now 25 cents richer. I am happy that I chose to walk with my head down that time because something good came out of it.
