This morning I was getting some things ready at my desk when a coworker walked in. She had some food from the cafeteria like she always does and she asked if I wanted any of it. Now this lady, and many other people out here, always has breakfast from the cafeteria when she gets here.

I told her that I had already eaten at home so I was fine. She then asked if I ate breakfast EVERY day at home before I came in to work.

I had to stock up on gas because I needed to make that trip out of town. I have not gotten any income yet…but I am working on it.

In response to a comment I received on my post Missed Out on a Penny I just wanted to let everyone know that I am not stingy. This site is dedicated to the ways that I save money in my life.

One of the ways I increase my cash statement is to pick up money I find on the ground if no one else claims it. If I found a huge wad of cash it is obviously something that someone would miss so I would do the right thing and report it.

I spent some money getting food and other stuff for around the house yesterday. I am still below the food budget so that is very good for me. I need to get gas tomorrow because I am currently at a quarter tank and I have to drive out of town tomorrow.

So I was at the doctor’s office yesterday (more on that later) when I saw a lady sitting on a couch….right next to a penny.

I wanted that penny and I was prepared to wait for her to get up so I could go get it. She got up, only to stretch and then she sat down again. She noticed the penny and I thought she was going to pick up….but she just brushed it a little bit away from her.

She kept fidgeting and moving the penny further away..but not far enough for me to pick it up comfortably. Then her friend came in and sat down next to her, RIGHT on the penny.
