My experience with LASIK has made me VERY happy and it was a very personal experience. However, not all the stories in this carnival are of such a personal nature.

Save Money and Save for House too
I just LOVE looking at houses. I watch House Hunters on HGTV every single day. In fact, my friends are unable to reach me at 6:30 and 9:00 every night because that is when the episodes air.
Sometimes I think that I would like to be a real estate agent because I love looking houses so much. I would love to be able to start saving for my own house soon so I was happy to find the site Save For House recently. This is a simple site that offers up a myriad of tips to help you save money for a house.
LASIK Eye Surgery – My Experiences – Day 6
I went back to get my eyes checked after having the LASIK done. This was now about one week after having the initial consultation. They did a vision test and told me that my eyesight was now at 20/15 which was a startling improvement for just one week, considering where I was before.
Good News
When the doctor examined my eyes he noted that the right eye was healing faster than expected, which was a good sign. The cornea and surrounding tissues were all flat and smooth, which meant the process was going well.
Looking for Hosts for the Carnival
We are currently looking for hosts for the Carnival of Twenty Something Finances and the Carnival of Credit Report Stories. Both of these carnivals offer tips and personal experience about how to save money and ways to make money. They also offer tips on how to manage your credit and what to do if your credit is not so great to begin with.

Step One: Waking up
I woke up to find that my eyes felt very dry and this was bad. The good thing was that I could now see. It felt strange to be able to see and know that I did not have my glasses or my prescription contact lenses in.

Tracking my Finances in January: Day 12
Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $128.15
Expenses for the month to date: $1889.33
Net effect: -$1761.18
The cash outflows are happening faster than I can handle them right now. This all looks messed up because we got paid twice in December and have not gotten paid for January. I will not be getting paid until February so the net effect just looks rough.
