Save Money by Buying in Bulk

Posted by LuLuGal | March 20, 2008 .

You can save money by purchasing things in bulk. Some of you may think that buying in bulk is a waste of time because of some of the negative stories you have heard.

I would not advise that you buy food in bulk unless it was something that you use on a regular basis because then it is going to go bad.

toiletpaperWhat you should buy in bulk is things that you know you use all the time.

Like toilet paper.

Got My Repayments from Lending Club

Posted by LuLuGal | March 14, 2008 .

I recently wrote about how I just Paid My First Loan Payment from LendingClub but now I want to talk about my experiences as a lender.

I set up a small amount of $100 a few months ago to lend out as loans on LendingClub because I wanted to see if I could make some money online in addition to finding ways to save money.

I got everything set up and looked at the various dates that my payments were supposed to come in. Now would only be receiving amounts around 78 cents for each $25 that I lent out because I chose some of the less risky loans that naturally came with slightly lower interest rates.

How to make $900 an Hour

Posted by LuLuGal | March 13, 2008 .

You can make $900 an hour by doing these simple steps:

Step One: bend over to pick up a quarter

Step Two: repeat step one 3,600 times.

I only got through to step one today while I was walking back to my class, so I made 25 cents. That means I am 25 cents richer today and that money goes into the quarter jar for laundry this weekend.

First Loan Payment with Lending Club

Posted by LuLuGal | March 13, 2008 .

I got a loan with Lending Club a few weeks ago so that I could pay off higher rate interest cards. This loan had a rate that was almost half of the interest rate that I was paying on those credit cards so it really was a good way for me to save money in the future.

With the Lending Club loan I was able to have a lower monthly payment as well as save money on the interest and fees for those outstanding balances. The first repayment on the loan was due on March 6th so I am reporting on the process.

Could You, Would You, When? The Sedona Method in Review

Posted by LuLuGal | March 12, 2008 .

I have been REALLY stressed out lately with the surgery, work and my finances so I was looking for a way to deal with all of that.

I got some of The Sedona Method audio samples and decided to give that a try to see if it would help. I also have the full version of “The Sedona Method Course”, which runs through 20 cds. Now this looked daunting at first but I put the cds in my car and listened to them as I drove to and from work. I also listened to the cds during my lunch break so I managed to get through the course in less time than I expected.
