I recently told people about my drawing for a FREE Gas card here at How I Save Money because so many people were talking about how the high gas prices have affected them.
Shawn says he is tired of hearing all the talk about "high" gas prices and we need to Quit Complaining about Gas Prices . Wow. I am not sure if I got slapped for whining there or not….but it is an interesting read to see it from his point of view.

I had another round with CVS and today I actually did better than I have before. I split up my transactions and used my ECB to help bring down my out of pocket expenses.

Mother In The Hospital: June 25
So by now I have let it be known that my mother has cancer. She was admitted to the hospital on June 23 and is having tests done. She is on an IV because she was so dehydrated.
I spent Monday and Tuesday at the hospital and she told me to stay home today and get some rest. I gave her a cellphone to call me and I have her room number so I can always get to her.
This morning when I spoke to her she said that she had some more Xrays done (this makes the third set) and she is having an endoscopy done today as well.
Vacation In New Jersey
Summer is here and it just might be time to think about Wildwood vacations if you can afford them. I have an uncle who lives in New Jersey and since I do not know about the Things to do in New Jersey while on vacation, this might be a good place to start.
The site offers a wide range of activities to look forward to like a Raven concert on July 26 at the Wildwood convention center . The thing I found most interesting was that they actually offer a chance to save some money on further entertainment, since you can receive $15 off a one day splash and ride combination ticket by showing your previously purchased concert tickets.
