Mother Has Kidney Failure
I am in a very bad mood right now. My brother just sent me a text and said that mother is now experiencing kidney failure.
He said she is in good spirits and trying to be positive. This is in direct contrast to me because I feel like #%!& and I am frustrated that I cannot do anything.
She is getting three pints of blood today and is set to get more chemotherapy on Thursday.
I just want to go home now…but I need my job…gotta pay those bills.

Be A Better Blogger with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10!
How can you become a better blogger with Dragon Naturally Speaking? Well, if you are like me then you speak faster than you type…and that is how you become better.
Sometimes I want to write a post but at the end of the day I am so tired that I just don’t want to type anymore. I think that if I had a product like Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard then I could just talk out loud and have all the typing done for me. Then I could save my poor tired wrists for simple editing like inserting pictures and formatting other areas like fonts.
How To Keep Cheese Fresh Longer Without Freezing
I was speaking to Baz the other day about cheese and why it always seems to go bad before you use it up.
To keep cheese from going bad you can always put it in the freezer but then you have to deal with brittle cheese that is all crumbling each time you try to use it.
I found a way to keep cheese fresher without having to resort to putting it in the freezer. I usually buy a large piece of cheese that I cannot possibly use by myself before it starts to grow mold.

Tracking My Finances In September: Day 25
Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $98.25
Expenses for the month to date: $2013.94
Net effect: -$1915.69
It is getting closer to the end of the month which means it is closer to payday. So far I am on track with the budget, despite having that $249 anesthesia bill creep up on me unexpectedly.
I went $12.75 over utilities because although the water bill was lower than I expected, the electricity bill was MUCH higher due to mother being sick and running the air conditioning all day.
Seasoned Eggs and Cinnamon Tea
I tweeted about my breakfast…..and you guys and gals were so curious that I had to post some pics.
First I simply got the hardboiled eggs ready. I put three eggs in a pot of water, covered the pot and set it on high. I only eat eggs once a week so three was not too much to have today.
I broke the cinnamon sticks and covered them with water so that boiled while the eggs were being cooked. After the eggs were ready I sprinkled them with some seasoned salt and black pepper.
