Today I paid $0.00 out of pocket for $6.99 worth of items. I decided to try out this new Purex detergent sheet that combines detergent, anti static and fabric softener in one easy to use sheet.
There are 20 sheets in the package but since I basically got it for free I am not too worried about the cost per sheet.
I also used up the total balance on the gift card by helping with someone else’s purchases.

How I Save Money At CVS: 31 May 09
Today I paid $0 out of pocket for $14.27 worth of items. I actually sort of spent money because I used a gift card but since that gift card was earned from spending money on other things I do not count it as ’spending’ since it is not additional money.
I also let Baz use the gift card to get some stuff since I messed up his CVS run last week and I don’t have the receipts but I used up an additional $7.68 for his purchases so the gift card balance below is correct.

I know this is not a very good track record based on the small amounts that I have paid at other times but today was a hectic day and I was with someone else. I do not have any pictures either because some of the items were not for me and I forgot to take a picture in time.

Today I paid $0.49 out of pocket for $5.49 worth of items.
I was going in just to get the Crest mouthwash when I realized that there was a FREE item that I could get as well. I used the ECBs from last week to get the medicine for FREE and then used the ECBs from the medicine to get the mouthwash. Score!!!!!
I have now earned about THREE times what I spent in real money in ECBs. CVS rocks!!!!

How I Save Money At CVS: 19 April 09
Today I paid $0.79 out of pocket for $3.79 worth of items. I love this ACT mouthwash because it restores minerals to your teeth. My dentist is pleased with my teeth so I guess it works.
I got a $1 ECB from the coupon machine at the front of the store, as well as $10 off $50 worth of items. I amnot sure if I can find enough to fill that order between this week’s sales and the upcoming ones but it would be a blessing if I could combine that with coupons and make a killing.
