Carnival of Credit Report Stories

September 3rd, 2007 by LuLuGal

Welcome to the September 3, 2007 edition of credit report stories.

There were a number of articles sent in that are not included in this edition of the carnival. Those articles, while well written, had nothing to do with credit so I had to omit them.

Please remember to link back if your article made it into the carnival and visit the other people listed here as well. The next edition of the carnival which will be hosted on September 17th, can be found over at Life Of Baz.

Penny.GIFTim Ramsey presents How to Pay Off Credit Card Bills posted at My Debt Relief Blog, saying, “Trapped in credit card debt? You can get out of the credit card trap with my sure-fire way to pay off those pesky bills.”

Jason Elder presents 100k In Credit Card Debt Is No Reason To Go Bankrupt posted at A Bankruptcy Lawyer’s Blog, saying, “Years ago bankruptcy was only used by business to obtain relief from its debtors. Today 1 out of every 7 people has filed bankruptcy and walked away from thousands of dollars of credit card debt.”

Aaron Wakling presents Protecting Your Credit Card Information Online posted at The Credit & Credit Card Blog, saying, “While shopping online is the latest and greatest trend for consumers, hackers and other dishonest people have also turned to online shopping as a way to obtain credit card information for fraudulent use.”

Logan Flatt, CFA presents Change the Game: Replace Your Credit Score with Your PowerWealth Debit Score? posted at PowerWealth.com.

Living Better presents What Is Your Credit Saying About You? posted at PlainAdvice, saying, “Take a candid look at what your credit problems might be saying about you.”

Penny.GIFKCLau presents Hacking your Cash Flow & Net Worth Chart posted at KCLau’s Money Tips, saying, “Learn how to hack the cash flow and net worth charts of the rich and you will be heading towards financial freedom in no time.”

Abdulrasool Sumar presents How to Negotiate Debt Obligations with Creditors posted at 3 Debt Consolidation Community, saying, “If creditors do not receive on time payments from you, they will often report your delinquency status to the major Credit Bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion). But what if you are willing to make payments to the creditors, but not the full amount they are asking for? For example, you have $15,000 of credit card debt and your minimum monthly payment is $375. However, you can only afford to pay $200 a month at the moment. How do you negotiate with your creditors so as to get the payment terms to your advantage and get negative items deleted off your credit report?”

Henry Bagdasarian presents Buy Credit And Every One Loses posted at Free Identity Theft Prevention, Detection and Fraud Solutions.

Cade Krueger presents Investing with Credit Cards posted at Write To Right.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of credit report stories using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.

    LuLuGal,

Thank you for hosting and posting!

By the way, regarding Mr. Jason Elder’s snippet in the Carnival, “Years ago bankruptcy was only used by business to obtain relief from its debtors,” I’m pretty certain that he meant to say, “Years ago bankruptcy was only used by business to obtain relief from its CREDITORS.”

    Thanks,

    Logan.
