How I Save Money At CVS: 19 April 09
Today I paid $0.79 out of pocket for $3.79 worth of items. I love this ACT mouthwash because it restores minerals to your teeth. My dentist is pleased with my teeth so I guess it works.
I got a $1 ECB from the coupon machine at the front of the store, as well as $10 off $50 worth of items. I amnot sure if I can find enough to fill that order between this week’s sales and the upcoming ones but it would be a blessing if I could combine that with coupons and make a killing.
Coupon Chief (Site Review)
I found the site Coupon Chief which offers coupons for online retailers.
Coupon Chief is very simple to use as outlined below:
1. Copy Coupon Code
2. Visit Online Retailer
3. Checkout With Code

You can search for coupons on the site by item such as furniture, shoes or toys. You can also search by retailer, e.g. Target to bring up a list of all available coupons for that site. You then copy the code for the item you want and move on to the retailer’s website. You can click to copy the code manually or write it down.
How I Organize My Coupons To Save Money

Many of you use coupons to save money and you know that I love using my coupons, especially at CVS where I can get things for free.
Every coupon user has a different method of organizing coupons and I have gotten a few emails asking how I organize my coupons.
Now this method might not work for you but here is what I have done to simplify my coupons.
Buy Newspaper
I have the paper delivered to me so I just get ready on Sunday mornings before I go to church. I have an idea of the kinds of coupons I would like to use so I just ignore the others.

That is how much I have in my Upromise account as of the last time I checked it.
I do not even know how I got this amount but I did register my credit cards with them so I guess I got the money from that.
I just found that Upromise allows you to use eCoupons to save even more money. These are coupons that you select online when you log in and they are placed on your account. You do not have to cut or print anything but they are redeemed when you buy an item that fits the coupon.
Tracking My Finances In 2009: 10 January
Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month.
This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because bills are due starting on the first but I don’t get paid until the last day.
Income for the month to date: $30.42
Expenses for the month to date: $1685.59
Save Money With Coupons (2009 Schedule)
I love to find ways to save money and one of the best ways I have found is to use coupons. I used to get up every Sunday and go to Walmart to buy the paper at $2.00 a pop so I could look through the coupon section.
Then I decided to get a Sunday subscription for $7.50 a month, which meant that I would now get the four papers for $7.50 instead of $8.00. This new deal was beneficial to me in two main ways:

How I Save Money At CVS: November 27
I am on a quest to see how much stuff I can get from CVS without spending any extra money out of my pocket. Today I paid $31.78 for $72.35 worth of items.
I could have paid $9 less if I had checked my ECBs better but I got careless again. I got the ECBs mixed up with some other CVS store coupons and forgot to use them on the first transaction.
The good news is that I now have a ton of ECBs for later use.

Welcome to How I Save Money. I am on a quest to see how much stuff I can get from CVS without spending any extra money out of my pocket. Once again I was able to go into CVS and NOT buy any toothpaste…..although the urge was very strong.
I have decided to keep including pictures but they will now be original pictures from Amazon.com. That way if you wish to purchase any item but do not want to go to CVS then you can order from the Amazon site (and I will get a percentage of your purchase as a referral).
