How I Save Money At CVS: 11 April 2010
Today I paid $0.00 out of pocket for $4.49 worth of items. This shampoo gave back the same amount in Extra bucks as the price so if you exclude the tax it was essentially FREE. I decided to get the shampoo because I had a $4.00 ECB coupon that expired on Friday but the cashier said since it was only two days old she could still accept it.
Remember that my goal for this year is to get as much as I can by simply using my ECBs, coupons and a gift card which I have gotten from redeeming cash back rewards.
How I Save Money At CVS: Valentines Day 2010
Today I paid $0.00 out of pocket for $29.98 worth of items. Today is Valentine’s Day but the deals at CVS were not all that great in my mind. I only got three items that I really wanted and was not impressed by the rest of the selections. I made a purchase last week that I forgot to post so transaction 1 will be last week and transaction 2 will be this week.
Since my gift card balance is now so low and I made a pledge to not spend out of pocket at CVS this year I will have to find a way to generate another gift card so that I can continue shopping there.
Month End Financial Check Up January 2010
It is the end of the month and I am pleased to report that I came out in the black this month at a total of $42.20 even after all the drama. It is a little bit strange because my paycheck for this month was down by $9.30 as my withholding amount went up. I have no idea why this happened because I did not change anything but I did reduce my zero based budget by $10 to account for this reduction in income.

Today I paid $0.00 out of pocket for $12.50 worth of items. CVS was having a sale on Glade candles and I love candles so I thought I might as well stock up on some now. I had to BOGO coupons so I think I got a pretty good deal and now have a stash of scented candles to make my place smell all yummy!!!!!
How I Save Money At CVS: 1 November 2009
Today I paid $0.00 out of pocket for $9.99 worth of items. I recently got a $50 CVS gift card by cashing in $45 of rewards from Discover. I have decided to only spend from the gift card and to only buy items that give ECBs back for the rest of the year in an effort to work on my Millionaire List.
I got a diabetic monitoring system that is different from the one I gave my coworker last week. I am not sure if I am going to donate this kit or keep it for personal use or send it to my family as yet.
