Tracking my Finances in 2009: 28 February
Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month.
This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because bills are due starting on the first but I don’t get paid until the last day.
Income for the month to date: $ Woo hoo pay day is today.
Expenses for the month to date: $ some high, some way under budget
Net effect: $109.83 UNDER budget
Since the last posting I got $2.21 interest from ING (even though the rates are going down), $3.22 from Lending Club and $3.25 from Prosper.
I spent $246.50 on Non-Food items (this includes stuff for Dinero) which brought me to a total of $111.50 over the budget for the month. I guess I need to adjust that part of the budget up a little bit because I will be needing to get more dry cat food next month. 
I got my payment from the great Google for adsense so I was very grateful for that and rolled it into my income for the month.
I spent only $30.46 on gas for the whole month and this includes my out of town trips!!! I guess I will cut the $75 gas budget down to $60 and move the $15 over to Non-Food items.
I put some of the $109 over the snowflake payments on one credit card which is the next target once the Lending Club loan is gone.
