Use Social Media to Drive Traffic
If you have any kind of online presence then you must have heard of how using social media can help you to drive traffic to your site. There are a number of ways that you can get people to come to your site but first they have to hear about it.
You can use services like IZEA, which is a social site that exposes your work to a large number of people . When you use this service you can look for other blogs or websites to sponsor and they will write reviews of your site.
This brings you a lot of exposure from a wider base than the people who visit your site on a regular basis. While this is not traffic that is guaranteed to return on a regular basis, you at least have put your online presence in front of new sets of eyes and they may decide to come back to see what else you have to offer.
Another good thing about using sites like IZEA is that it puts you as a blogger in touch with sponsors who are willing to let you sample their products in exchange for a review . These reviews are very easy to do and quite a few bloggers are getting lots of free items as a result of taking various opportunities.
As a blogger you also get a chance to sample some items even before they become available to the general public , making you somewhat of a trendsetter. Of course getting free items means that you are able to save money so it all works out to the best situation for both parties.

I hear a lot of people talking about twitter as a social medium for bloggers. I just don’t think my life is that interesting to let people know when I have fed my kids dinner, or when I took the dogs for a walk:)
LuLuGal - I use IZEA as a way to make some extra money from my blog and to try and expose my site. So far I have had good results in a few short weeks.
I completely agree with Scott - I just don’t “get” Twitter at all! So silly

Twitter is not the only medium being referred to so do you guys use anything else to drive traffic to your sites? PayPerPost? Social Spark? Facebook?
I can’t wait a couple more weeks to join PPP. I love blogging.
