Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
I was supposed to get paid today but the paperwork got all messed up so there was no check waiting for me. This is quite frustrating and puts me in a bit of a bind. Luckily I did get some extra money last month so that I was able to have all the money I needed for some of the upfront costs like rent which needed to be paid immediately.
I wrote the rent check today and since I am calculating money spent as soon as I write a check I am going to count that money as being spent today.
Income for the day: $0.00
Expenses for the day: $320.00
Income for the month to date: $0.00
Expenses for the month to date: $323.50
Net effect: -$323.50
Did I save money: No
Looks like I’ve got you beat thus far, I’m only at $240 spent so far this month… but that will all change when I mail out some bills here in later this week 🙁
