I am not getting married BUT I have been reading a few bridal magazines lately. I found out that many people tend to go overboard and go over their budgets when a wedding comes around.

Here is a wedding money mistake that people often make.

4. Leaping Before Looking

Many people get so caught up in the thrill of getting married that they just say yes to everything. They take the first offer that comes along because they are so giddy with excitement.

While it might be very easy to just take the first offer because you are overwhelmed with what is happening, you must also realize that in order to get the best bang for your buck you need to shop around.

Stop a while and look around for other deals on the flowers and catering because if you can show the provider that there is competition for your money you might be able to get a better offer.

Think about the days that come up AFTER the wedding…bills start coming in, the confetti settles and you have to think about starting your married life in debt or going forward with financial stability.
