Welcome to Money Mondays!

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

This week my financial outflows were:

$21.95 for some new fuzzy slippers. Yes this is quite a bit for house shoes but the winters here are BAD and they are fur lined and have hard bottoms.

$72.05 for assorted items from Amazon. I wanted to try out a new collagen peptides powder. I heard this helps with hair and nail growth, which I really need. I also purchased a new document wallet for my car. Yes it is a splurge on an unnecessary item but I love it. It is a place to keep the registration and copies of other papers that I normally have loose in my glove compartment and it looks great.

$87.73 for the electric bill. This is quite a jump from it being in the $60s the last two months. I usually average about the low $80s so I am not surprised. It has been very cold recently and has snowed a few days and I have the heater on.
