Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$99.00 for an annual subscription to Dropbox. I have used Dropbox for years and find the service to be very useful. It was in my best interest to simply increase my storage to 1TB for the annual fee. This way I can keep my laptop backed up and accessible all the time. I also have a larger number of collaborations moving forward. It is easier to keep everything in Dropbox instead of saving in multiple spots. I will make backups of everything I am working on but easy access is important as well.

$78.18 on a coat and scarf. It has been brutally cold here recently. It was below zero degrees for the last few days!I did not have proper winter gear when I moved from Texas. Recently I bought a beautiful puffer coat but I wanted something a little more classy and stylish looking.

The coat was originally $200 but was on clearance at $79.99. The scarf cost $20 but was also on clearance for $14. I had a 20% off coupon which brought my total after tax to $78.18.

In addition, I activated my Ebates InStore cash back to get cash back on top of my regular credit card cash back!!!!

This week my financial inflows were:

Paycheck. We got paid on the first of the month so I had a nice cash flow to start the month. Our next paycheck is on the 15th and that will go towards credit card debt payoff.
