How I Save Money At CVS: May 29

May 29 was my second time using CVS. I already mentioned the First Time I Shopped At CVS pharmacy and what I found out about the Grocery Game and CVS Extra Bucks. This time I had my extra bucks in hand and went off shopping.

I split my transactions to make use of the extra bucks and my receipts were as follows:

Transaction 1

Item: Prescription (no coupons allowed)

Price: $10.00

CVS bucks earned: $0.00

Transaction 2

Item: Colgate toothbrush

Price: $3.99

CVS bucks earned: $3.99

Item: Aquafresh toothpaste

Price: $2.99

CVS bucks earned: $2.99

Transaction 3

Item: Neutrogena deep conditioner

Price: $6.99 (used $2.79 extra bucks)= $4.20

CVS bucks earned: $1.00

Total out of pocket today: $21.86

Total CVS Extra Care Bucks today: $7.98

Total out of pocket to date: $41.63

Total CVS Extra Care Bucks earned: $15.76

CVS Extra Care Bucks Used: $2.79

CVS Extra Care Bucks Balance: $12.97
