I am beginning to hate being paid on the last day of the month because it always has me starting off with a negative cash flow. I got paid yesterday so that income has to go on the March report….yet I have rent and other things due today.
The cash outflows for today were rent, water and a credit card bill(a 0% interest card). I had to change the card I use to pay the rent because the one I was using did not recognize the rent as rent but as ‘other’ and as a result I was not earning cash back on that. I am trying everything I can to make money and save money so switching to a card that gives me the cash back on rent payments works for me.
I have set up my Electric Orange account to pay the cash to the credit card on the 9th of the month so that way I do not pay interest on the amount charged and I can save money while building up my cash back awards.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
Another way to look at getting paid on the last day of the month is that you come out ahead at the end of the month, right? (Well, ideally.)
Interesting way of looking at it Mark, which I did not think of before. More of a glass half full approach.
