Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. I normally go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. I will now post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$10.71 on some flip flops. They were on sale for $2.99 a pair and I had just ripped my spare pair over the weekend. I ended up getting three pairs and they will just wait around until I need them. I walk around my house with flip flops since I hate to be barefoot and I have a pair that I use to walk around outside as well.

$7.36 on some frozen yogurt with a friend.  She had paid for my lunch the week before when she took me out to celebrate so I figured the least I could do was get her fro-yo this time! Oh that was the total for BOTH of our yogurts!

This week rounds up the last week of my birth month and I honestly did not spend as much as I thought I was going to initially. I will be ordering a new phone this week since my current phone is dying. It has been overheating for the last year and frequently will shut itself off for no reason. It freezes a lot and many times my calls either do not go through or will cut off in the middle of a conversation. I have been eyeing phones for a few months and finally decided on the one that I want to get.
