Income for the month to date: $2329.18
Expenses for the month to date: $821.04
Net effect: $1508.14
I started off the first day of the month in the positive so I am happy for this. This income for the day was salary and various payments for online ventures. The expenses for the day consisted of rent, food, work clothing, water bills and a payment to Discover card.
I am hoping that the rest of the month continues in a positive light and I hope I can get some more paying gigs online. This internship has been really good to me and the online work for PayPerPost has also been great so once again I am happy for the opportunities.
I did not save any money on the groceries or the clothing because I did not have any coupons. I did get the generics on mostly everything so that should count a little way to redeem me for spending so much on the first day….right?

The first of the month is always our biggest spending day. Once we got a month ahead in our finances we just go ahead and pay all the bills for the month at one time. This makes it much easier to budget.
Yes it really does help. I pay the credit cards when they show a payment due because if I pay them at the beginning of the month then when the due date comes around I still have a payment (because I carry a balance.)
