Welcome to Money Mondays!

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

This week my financial outflows were:

$65.98 for household items. Two of the light bulbs on the stairs went out at the same time and one is flickering in the kitchen.  I had two free bulbs from my electric company but they are very low wattage and yellow toned. While I could save money by using the free lights I also want to save my sanity. There is just something refreshing about a bright white light, especially on a staircase.

I spent another $90.62 on household items later in the week. This included vitamins as I have been feeling a bit run down lately. I’m also trying to get stocked up vitamins and supplements as we are heading back to campus soon. This means students will be moving back into town, bringing a potential set of new illnesses.
