Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$87.45 for miscellaneous household items. This purchase included some shoe covers for guests. I have very light carpets in my rental and I also hate the idea of tracking outside dirt in. There are disposable shoe covers that some maintenance people wear so I ordered a boxed set of these for guests.

My purchase also included some back up bottles of vitamins. I love taking various vitamins but hate swallowing pills. The gummy versions of what I take are a bit on the pricey side. I also take biotin because my nails are very weak, no matter what I do.

This week my financial inflows were:

$69.33 from Rakuten as a big fat check. This was from a number of different purchases over multiple periods. Rakuten pays on a schedule so once there is a base amount in your account they send a check.
